Congrats to you Tom Brady!

Tom Brady was name the Offensive Player of the Year by the Associated Press for the second time in his career. His touchdown to interception ratio of 9.0 broke his NFL record of 6.3. Despite his impressive statistics (36 touchdowns, 4 interceptions), Brady and company lost their third straight playoff game.

The Patriots are 0-3 in the playoffs since their Super Bowl loss to the Giants, and the team is looking to rebound strongly next year. They will be determined and hungry for a playoff win. Brady stated, “My only disappointment is that we couldn’t take advantage of our opportunity in the playoffs, but hopefully we learn from that and use it as motivation toward accomplishing our goals for next season.”

Although it was another disappointing stint in the playoffs, the young team has a promising future; gaining back most of their starters next year and obtaining a few that will come back from injury. Luckily, Boston sports fans have plenty of other things to enjoy to put the Pats on hold until the April draft. The Bruins are first in their division, the Red Sox acquired to big names during free agency, and the Celtics have the best record in the Eastern Conference.

While you enjoy watching the games and upcoming Super Bowl in your homes, remember to celebrate safely.
