These days it almost takes more effort not to be earth-conscious than it is to just go with the “green” flow. April 22, 2010 represents the 40th Anniversary of Earth Day. This year, it might be a good idea to get a little more active than just planting a little sapling on the town green or in your local park in your community. While many of us aren’t ready to install windmills in our backyards or to trade in our cars for hybrid engines, there are other ways to join the fight to preserve this big blue marble.
