These days it almost takes more effort not to be earth-conscious than it is to just go with the “green” flow. By now you have probably gotten into the habit of recycling; using green fabric bags at the grocery store (when you don’t forget to get them from your car); asking your bank(s) and credit card companies to “go paperless”; and maybe you have even done some light internet research on what sustainability and carbon footprints really have to do with global warming. But sadly, those things alone aren’t enough.
April 22, 2010 represents the 40th Anniversary of Earth Day. This year, it might be a good idea to get a little more active than just planting a little sapling on the town green or in your local park in your community. It’s time to get involved and show your support for Mother Earth! While many of us aren’t ready to install windmills in our backyards or to trade in our cars for hybrid engines, there are other ways to join the fight to preserve this big blue marble. By visiting the Earth Day 2010 Action Center, you can learn more about ways that you can support Earth Day.
We’re supporting the “green” philosophy by offering our paperless option. All you have to do is fill out a form here, and we can digitize all of the documents associated with your policies with Encharter. You won’t get another piece of paper from us again! At Encharter Insurance, “It’s all about protecting you!” and we hope that you will help in joining us to protect the Earth one “act of green” at a time!
