Why does it always seem like Fall is the busiest time of year, even for those of us who no longer attend school or do not have children in school? It’s a funny phenomenon, but true nevertheless. And you wouldn’t think that you could fit any more in, but they did (whoever “they” is…)! Did you know that September is National Preparedness Month?
National Preparedness Month is sponsored in September of each year, sponsored by FEMA, (according to Wikipedia), “Preparedness Month encourages Americans to take simple steps to prepare for emergencies in their homes, businesses, schools, and communities. FEMA’s Ready Campaign educates and empowers Americans to prepare for, and respond to emergencies, including natural disasters and potential terrorist attacks.”
Being prepared is something upon which those of us in the Northeast are starting place some greater importance, especially in light of the natural activity here in just a few months: Flooding, Tornadoes, Hurricane, Earthquake. Another way to be sure that you’re prepared in the event of a natural disaster is to call your MA Insurance agent at Encharter Insurance. By talking to your agent, you can review your current coverages on your Massachusetts Insurance policies and let your agent tell where you might be found to be at unnecessary risk.
Celebrate National Preparedness Month in style by giving your friendly, knowledgeable Encharter Insurance agent a call!
