“In the Middle of Nowhere” and your MA Car Insurance

Every spring, students at the University of Massachusetts – Amherst (like myself) are graced with the presence of chefs from ten different schools. The chefs (this year, one coming all the way from Oregon State University) cook up their specialty dishes and students vote on which dish they like the best.

Events like these spoil UMass students. Local chefs, student chefs, and contests help change the pace of the dining commons so students don’t get tired of the same offerings every week.

UMass dining has events that seem to be every other week that attract visitors and the media. Students are accustomed to getting asked for a picture to promote the event and cuisine. Moreover, UMass won the Ivy Award in 2008 for being one of the best Institutions for food in the U.S.

Keep an eye on the events page, because you just might be tempted to drive to Amherst for a taste. Be careful though, traffic clutters route 9 and if you come from the east, you’ll face windy, rural roads which may pose a risk for an accident and a change in your Massachusetts car insurance.

Increasing your MA auto insurance because you were visiting a friend or relative to try the food at UMass would certainly put a damper on the trip. Take care and precaution, especially when you’re in an unfamiliar area. Some people say UMass is in the middle of nowhere, so don’t be caught in the middle of nowhere reviewing your MA insurance policy – especially when there’s food waiting for you!
