Massachusetts: the blinker-less state

Blinkers in MA: the law not an optional accessory.

Driving like many other things that we do on a regular basis becomes habit. It becomes something that we may not even realize the thought process behind it because it is such a reflex; put your seatbelt on, turn signal before turning, check your mirrors throughout the drive, lock the car when you get out (regularly review your MA Auto Insurance policy).

But apparently, for some, not everything sticks and becomes a thought-free part of the drive. If you are a Massachusetts driver, you’ve probably been called a few names or at least have heard the rumors and reputations that come with your “Spirit of America” license plate.

Check out this video:

Curious If Mass. Drivers Ignore Their Turn Signal

It’s a fact that not all Massachusetts drivers are horrible, negligent and only concerned with where they have to go and getting there no matter what stands in their way but, sometimes (like at rush hour) it’s hard to believe. Our state is regularly mocked for their lack of blinker use and if you take a10 minutes drive down the street, you’ll quickly see why.

Don’t let yourself be associated with the blinker-less reputation and don’t let yourself be a part of the after effects of other drivers who have forgotten the importance of that little warning light. And don’t drive unprotected! The last thing that we want is for you to end up in an accident or worse, in an accident without the proper coverage. Call your Encharter Insurance agent today (888-865-1244) to review the coverage that you have with your MA Car Insurance.
