After 6 months on the sidelines with an MCL injury, the Celtics welcomed back Kendrick Perkins, their starting center from the last few years. This marks the return to the status quo with the Celtics, having all of their starters healthy and playing since last season.
Perkins (6’10”, 280 pounds) will be another threat to deal with on defense as opponents will also be facing Shaquille O’Neal, Glen Davis, and Semih Erden. That’s quite an imposing group (all are taller than 6’8” and more than 240 pounds).
If there’s one thing sports teach us, it is that accidents can happen at any moment. This covers on and off the court. Sure, we have seen Perkins, Wes Welker, and Jacoby Ellsbury all fall to injury during games, but we also saw Tom Brady get into a car accident over the summer.
Accidents can strike at any time and without warning, so since it is impossible to avoid the unavoidable, at least make it easier to bounce back. Decent insurance can help reduce the frustration after an accident or loss.
